Winter Field Day 2026


Winter Field Day is January 24th and 25th. Located at EMA HQ located at 1511 N. Ohio in Sedalia. Set up will begin at approximately 10:30 am. Contest begins at noon. Come join us for fun, fellowship, and some ham radio fun. Invite a friend and get them on the radio. Members dinner will begin around 4pm. Club has some pork loin, cheesy potatoes and green beans. If you want bring a covered dish. Look forward to seeing you here.

1st Quarter 2 Meter Repeater Challenge

Make 10 different individual contacts in January, February, and March (total of 30). You can make a contact with the same person each month. Checking in to the net is not part of the challenge. The purpose of the challenge is to generate activity on the repeater. Those who complete the challenge will be awarded a certificate.

Spark-Con 2025 that’s a wrap

We at Spark were honored to host the ARRL Midwest Convention this year. Many thanks to our vendors, presenters, and attendees who made Spark-Con 2025 a truly memorable event. We certainly can’t forget about Amelia Rose Earhart who at the Friday night banquet gave a inspiring keynote address. We certainly can’t forget about our amazing club members who made it possible for us to host the event. Most importantly we thank the ARRL in trusting us to host the convention. We are already brainstorming to make Spark-Con 2026 even bigger and better. We already have several vendors and presenters who are coming back for next years convention. Mark your calendar for the 2nd weekend of October 2026 for Spark-Con 2026.
